Ya, I am still here, doing a little winter hibernation

Bryce came by the studio for his 8 month pictures, and I can’t believe how well he is getting around and interacting!  I love watching little ones grow!

I can’t believe that this little guy is already one.  He has been a baby planner for the past year and I have to admit that I am going to miss the little fella around the studio!

When Dani and Ethan booked with me I was a little nervous because the weather around here has been a little unpredictable, but SURPRISE it was a beautiful day!  I didn’t know if anyone else could love their dog as much as my husband and I do Zoe, but I know that we defiantly have a run for our money because these two are just as smitten with theirs.

I was told that I can officially say that I have a client that came all the way from Hawaii to have their family pictures taken….even though I don’t think I am the only reason

 

Angie (the daughter) and her husband flew in just a few hours before this shoot, and you can’t even tell, they look great!  I know I am defiantly not photo shoot ready after a 7 hour flight! This family is so sweet and I am thankful they found time to come see me at the studio before Angie and Ryan had to fly back home.

What a beautiful winter wedding!  It was cold and rainy, but I think there is something about that kind of weather and a wedding that makes it so romantic! Small country church was the setting, beautiful Christmas decorations, and some great piano music.  Just perfect.

This family came to the studio a couple of weeks ago (soooo I might be a little behind) and I met one of the sweetest baby boys!  He was so good through the whole photo shoot, which for a one year old (a little younger actually) is unheard of!  I am really excited to share these because these images are the perfect example of what the studio is good for!

 

I know that I have already posted this image, but if you look closely this one has been painted.  Pretty cool right?  This is something that I am working on here in the studio, let me know what you think!

With the year coming to an end and a new one beginning I want to take a few minutes to go over a few benefits in more detail.  I have been pretty relaxed on some of the referral programs that Studio K Photography offers and in 2012 we are going to stick with the policies that we have in place so everyone is treated fairly and equally.

 

Before I get into all that bumbo jumbo I want to thank all my clients old and new for making this the best year Studio K Photography has ever had!  This was a year of discovery for the studio, and a lot of learning (painfully sometimes), but I think we have come out of it on top!  I couldn’t have done any of it without all of you, and I am so happy that I have been able to get to know each and everyone of you! Muah!

 

Ok now I want to just touch on a few things… I am still going to offer the $50.00 print credit if you book during the week.  However this credit was put into place so that I might be able to shoot more during the weekday and get a better balance of work and personal life.  So please note that if you want this $50.00 bonus you have to book during the week but also between 9:00am and 4:00 pm (4pm because session run an hour long).

 

The referral bonus will still be $50.00 per person you refer to Studio K Photography.  Please note that you only get that $50.00 for the first time they book, after that they are a returning client.  Please make sure that when you do refer some one that they tell me (or you contact me), I ask but sometimes they forget to tell me.  Don’t forget that this credit is good for ANY product Studio K Photography offers, including jewelry, canvas, and books!

 

Since I now have this great studio (if you haven’t seen it please come to visit!) I will be conducting pre-consultations for all photo shoots!  This will give you the chance to tell me just want you are wanting out of your session and we can talk about what to wear, where we will be shoot and all that good stuff.

 

This brings me to order meetings.  They will all be held in the studio.  You will see your images here at your order meeting and place your order at the same time.  That gives you the opportunity to ask me any questions, see all the samples in the studio, and get the size of print that is perfect for you!  IF you leave without placing your order at your order meeting you will have the full next day to contact the studio with it but after that the prices will increase 20%.

 

Everyone will still have the chance to earn more free prints by having their photo shoot spotlighted on the blog, but I have had to place a 7-day limit on these comments.  Make sure you are watching for you post because it is too difficult for the studio to contact everyone when his or her post goes up.

 

I know this seems like a lot, but everything that I covered has been in place for a while, and there are reasons…mostly for my sanity!  If you have any questions please contact the studio at info@studiokonline.com or by phone 620-717-2802.

This session finally took place on the 3rd time we had it scheduled…and it still happen to snow that day!  We stayed inside for the session since it was so cold out, a perk to having this great studio!  Ashley was such a sweet girl and has an angelic face!

I know I said this on my facebook page, but I seriously smiled the whole time I was editing this session.  This little girl had so many fun expressions and silly faces that she has me laughing out loud!  You can tell that this is one loved little girl because she is so happy =)
